
KWASUED offers admission to qualified candidates for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The requirements vary depending on the programme and level of study.
Undergraduate Admissions:
Candidates seeking admission into undergraduate programmes must meet the following general requirements:
Requirements
- Five credit passes in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Acceptable scores in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- A minimum score on the KWASUED Post-UTME screening test.

Direct Entry Admissions
KWASUED also accepts applications from candidates seeking direct entry admission into the 200 level of undergraduate programmes. These candidates must meet the general undergraduate admission requirements and possess one of the following qualifications:
Requirements
- The Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) with a minimum of a merit-level pass in relevant subjects.
- Two passes at the Advanced Level (GCE) in relevant subjects.
- A National Diploma (ND) with at least an upper credit pass in relevant fields.
Postgraduate Admissions
To be eligible for admission into KWASUED’s postgraduate programmes, candidates must meet the following criteria:

- A minimum of five O' Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
- A Bachelor's degree with at least Second Class Honours (Lower Division) from KWASUED or any other university recognized by the KWASUED Senate.
- Applicants for the Ph.D. programme must possess a Master's degree from a recognized university with a weighted average score of at least 60% or a 4.0 CGPA on a 5-point scale.
Applicants may be required to sit for a qualifying examination or attend an interview. They must also submit an application form, academic transcripts, and other supporting documents.
